It is that time of the year again, the wonderful season for GARAGE SALES. For those of you who do not know what garage sales is, it is a sales that happen around the garage. It is a way for people to get rid of their unwanted items and, hopefully, recoperate some money in the process. It is a way for bargain shoppers, such as moi, to buy cheap used items. When I first immigrated to Canada, we went garage shopping every Saturday and purchased some of our furnitures that way. In fact, my bed set is from a garage sale from just around the corner.
I am an experienced Garage Sales shopper. I love bargaining for no reason at all. The worse sellers are the ones who get offended by my offers. The best sellers are the ones with good humour and are willing to bargain. If you don't like dealing with me. Fine, be that way!
Yesterday, I spent only five dollars. It was a five dollar well spent. For the price of only a buck I got a nice item to hold all my jams.
