Technology Tuesday - I don't like Swiping

I don't like swiping on my teenie tiny phone.
My big clumsy thumb often swipe the wrong keys.
Auto-correct is suppose to help but it's not really helping.
How many times do I have to correct auto-correct?
This is the question.

Technology Tuesday - I like typing

I like typing because it feels nice to hit the keys,
it is pleasant to hear the sounds of keystrokes,
it is fun to see the words appear across the screen,
it is relaxing to see the cursor guiding you as you type,
which is why I love keyboarding!

Wait which Keyboard? You know, the Keyboard! ;)

Technology Tuesday - Still as clueless as the end of 2014

Just re-read my old post from the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015.  I can basically write the same post because.. I am still using technologies that might be slowly becoming "obsolete" or "outdated".  I can't keep up with people younger than me, older than me or the same age as me.  It's sad, really.

Anyways, I digress...

Technology, as defined in Collins Cobuild Dictionary, refers to methods, systems, and devices used for practical purposes.

When I think about the word "Technology", I don't think about methods or systems nor do I think that Technology has to serve a practical purpose.  Which makes me wonder how other people would define "Technology" or "Practical".

I guess other people have already asked this question and have been developing, developed and are still developing technologies to answer this question? and I am just wondering about it now. (Late to the party as always or the bang wagon).

Why I love Public Transit - Part 1 of I don't know how many parts...

PART I - WHY I LOVE RIDING THE GO TRAIN
Go Train not Go Transit.  Although I love the Go Transit as well...

I love riding the Go Train because it is very soothing and calming.
The sound of the train moving,
the sound of the whistle blowing,
the sound of the air whistling, and lastly,
the footsteps of people entering and leaving the train are all music to my ears.

Sometimes, when we are "lucky" we get to hear a solo snorer.
All of these sounds and the soothing motion of the ride provides for a very relaxing environment,
which is much needed after a day of work.

This is why I love the Go Train.
