wore boots

I wrote about shoes before.  Today is a joyous day to write about wear and tear of my boots wore by yours truly.  My first pair of Manitobah Mukluks which I got at a warehouse in Alberta for a great price is now very wore. It lost a few decorative beads and the inner sole is no longer fluffy.  Today I found a solution to my problem.  As the pair I got was a size way too big for me and did not had a vibram bottom, I am able to stuff it with a pair of slippers inside.  I hope the photos I will be displaying will be able to illustrate all I have written today.  Oh, there is a problem with the bottom as well. It is now sticky because the material is like that after a few years.  

Photo 1 shows the missing decorative beads and that my dog has taken a bite out of my boot.

Photo 2 shows the bottom is old now and material turns sticky.

Photo 3 is the pair of slippers I now have to wear inside of this mukluks in order to make it great again!

Photo 4 is the beautiful but wore label.  You cannot buy wear and tear.

The next pair of boots have also travel with me for a long time.

Let's call them my sexy red boots that will draw unwanted comments like "red boots?"

I got them during dinner break at my close to minimum wage job.  I had to travel by underground subway and then make my decision quickly.  It was on sale for a great price!  However, because someone made fun of me, they were left unwore for many many years.  One day while selecting items to donate to the thrift store, I decided to donate them.  They were only wore once. Fortunately, my mom decided to keep them.  You see, sometimes I do the same things with stuff she decided to donate too.  I decided to finally rock them again whenever I go jogging or running.  They are warm and waterproof.  I was surprise how great they were for winter running! Unfortunately, one pair has a hole in it now.  I can finally see it's layer!

I have to find the missing piece and then maybe try to glue it back together.  The other side is also slowly coming apart.

When i was young, I didn't talk about boys much with my girlfriends, even though it was always a hot topic.  As I grew older, the hot topic changed to their offspring.  I am never part of any hot topics that girls or women like to be engaged in all the time.  Don't bother talking to me. Thanks.
