Traffic on the Minor street i live on for many years

I used to travel bypass and wondered the thoughts of the oppositions.  You see, during discussion, there were definitely people opposed to it.  Nevertheless, the bypass exists today and I use it.  To give my non-existent readers some background, I did not follow the discussion at all; however, before the bypass existed there were definitely a group of people who were opposed of the bypass.  They made their opinions known by posting gigantic signs of "NO".  The message was clear, simple and easy to read. It was a simple statement.  Unfortunately, because I never investigated further I have no idea how many people actually did not want the bypass as well as their reasoning.  I am under the impression that there were more people in support of having the bypass because it exists today.

What an intro, tangent paragraph.

Today, a bunch of mini-no parking signs magically appeared on lamp post/ street light along the street I live on.  It came as a shock.  I personally dislike street parking to begin with but I guess I also do not like a street with too many signs.  I am lying in bed wondering who made the request to have those signs installed and when were they installed?

A long time ago, I remember being annoyed that some people uses this Minor Street to access a Secondary Road.  Today, upon seeing this no parking sign being installed on street lights on this Minor Street annoys me to no ends because i think a LOCAL TRAFFIC only sign would have been more preferable then a bunch of no parking signs.

As a resident of this Minor Street, parking that bothers me are cars I do not recognize as well as cars that park on this Minor Street for many hours on a regular basis yet never park in any driveways of this Minor Street.

I am not sure how many cars are allowed on private driveways.
