Random On! Do's & Dont's

Random On! DON'TS during trick or treat

If you want to be successful in collecting lots of candies (aka sweets) then don't bring a basket with lots of holes. (You will end up leaving a trail of candies behind)

If you want to be successful in collecting all sorts of treats then don't reject any treats but bring a few sturdy pillow cases or families/friends (who are willing to travel as long and as fast as you want to)!

If you want to be successful in collecting selectively then don't go trick or treat.

If you want to be successful in saving your treats then don't give it to the toothfairy.

Leisure Friday ~ Homebody Evening

This photo sums up my Friday homebody evening.

Junk food, animation I like to watch while I wait for my mother to watch the show of her choice,  easy to use remote controller and a comfortable place to sit or lie on :D... oh and a newly purchased merchandise to play with ;)

What's your homebody Friday.

Dreamy Thursday ~ @ the Track

Dreamy Thursday ~ At the Track
I could have been a multi-millionaire

Many of us have dreamt about winning the lottery.  Grandma, mom and I could have became multi-millionaires about two decades ago if we knew how to place bet at a "horse race track".

During one of our many family day outings, we went to a "horse race track".  Grandpa and Dad love participating in horse race betting.  I think many people do, it's fun!  Usually, they participate by listening to the radio or by watching TV while the race happen.  Prior to the race, they would study the section of the newspaper(s) dedicated to the horse racing.  I am not too sure what each of their process is but I think that's a good summary of what happens.

Anyways..so during one of our many family day outings, we went to a "hose race track".  Grandma, mom and I situated ourselves at a comfortable spot and, before each race, we would each pick our favourite horse.  We happened to pick the right horses for the highest payout race.  We even asked Grandpa and/or Dad to place a bet for us because we really loved those three horses.  No one placed a bet for us and so EVERYONE missed out on the BIGGEST payout of that day.

After that, Grandpa started placing bets for us but I think we used up our luck on that day.

Nevertheless, the memory is priceless and we weren't there for the payout anyways.

A walk down memory lane - Puzzles

A walk down memory lane - Puzzles

There are many types of puzzles. I have played with many puzzles.

The 3 images attached to this blog post are some of my favourite puzzles from childhood - except for the 100 pieces puzzle with 2 image which was completed today and bought recently. (They also represent 3 types of puzzles) I have played with a few of them many times. I believe I chose many of them as well.

One of the 104 puzzles reminds me of the taste of a biscuit that I was eating while completing it for the very first time.   I completed this puzzle many times because I really loved it.

I believe there was another puzzle smaller but bigger than all the puzzles shown in this blog post. I don't remember how it looked like but I do remember glueing it together and proudly hanging it up in my room.

As I grew older I competed more complicated puzzles.  Anyhow, a small puzzle with a twist might seem easy to complete while a big puzzle without a twist may actually be impossible to complete.

Obviously, it took me a few days to complete the 100 pieces puzzle because it is a 2 in 1 puzzle and I never done a puzzle like this before.

As I was completing this 100 pieces puzzle today I remembered my favourite 104 puzzle hence this blog post.

Leisure Friday! Super Hero Uniforms!

Leisure Friday! Super Hero Uniforms!

Friday, TGIF!!! (not for me though... =( seasonal temp employment - why did i sign up????)

Anyways, today, I put on my cheap clearance Spartan Sport wear (either 5 bucks or 10 bucks).  I'll call it the Cheap Wear for the remainder of this blog post.

This Cheap Wear has many uses!  It is designed as a long sleeve running shirt (water resistant and all - not really...)

I wore it for fur and dry dirt resistant (the dilemma of being a dog owner).

However, as my adventure progressed in our humble backyard. this Cheap Wear also assisted me with tree climbing by providing protection for my fragile skin on my hands and arms.  I had to improvise and stretch the sleeves out though.

After tree climbing, it was getting hot, the body of the Cheap Wear transformed into a cape and the sleeves transformed into a single braid!

The Cheap Wear (cape) then slowly made it's way up to the front and can now function as a bib, an apron, or a halter top?

Anyways, being the busy, sorta unemployed person that I am, I have to go now.  Will either add pictures/photos to this blog post later today or maybe post the photographs of the transformations of the Cheap Wear on Sunday (picture only day).

Stay Tuned!

A walk down memory lane - Many uses of the washroom

Many uses of the washroom - Pets

The washroom is meant for cleaning (ie. Cleansing of the body through ejection of human waste from the mouth, ear, nose, uterus, penis and anus*).

However,  people use the washroom for other things as well.  For example,  reading and singing while pooping or shitting solid dry waste.

Today's post was inspired while I was shitting in the washroom.

As usual,  I walked into my favourite washroom in the family home.   I closed the door but not competely tight.   Okee, our Siberian Husky, pushed the door open and peeked at me.   I was surprised by her behaviour because she doesn't like to be trapped in tight spaces.   Anyhow,  I closed the door again,  not completely shut, this time with Okee in the washroom with me.

I get into a comfortable position to poop! Okee got into a comfortable position to sleep (see picture).  At this moment,  I remembered my collies, Jai Jai and Lui Lui.

We used to play hide and go seek.  The washroom was where I would place them at the beginning.   When I am ready,  I'll tell them to come.  I tried to play hide and go seek with Okee and Q too but that never worked because they would not wait in the washroom.  In fact, Okee would let out a bad bodily odour.

*sidenote: please do not confuse this with the shower.
