Artist's comment: I began my sketch with the view of the entrance to my first condo from the stairways leading up to my floor. The sketched door will be the final gate and door I have to go through in order to enter my home.
Upon completing the front view sketch, I proceeded to work on the outside view to illustrate the open space parking lot concept.
Finally, I proceeded with the Aerial view to demonstrate how space was used effectively and efficiently in an area leading up to a mountain.
There are obviously more residential buildings and businesses in the area but I didn't have enough space on my canvas.
This picture would have been extremely crowded if I was to include everything I remembered on such a small canvas. It was a great neighbourhood. Very complicated for a child to navigate without guidance but once you are there for a while, it's pretty awesome!
If I were to draw the entire area as I remembered I would need a pretty big canvas.
