Going to a resort should not feel like work, if it does then it better be your place of employment.
Listen to the staff there if you want to have a good time, especially on arrival. Case in point, I would not have been able to go on an excursion during my first out of country resort if I didn't listen to the marine staff.
After checking in at the reception/registration area, listening to a brief introduction of all the things we could be doing at the resort and checking out our modest room, my friend and I were exploring the resort and came across the marine section and the staff said they are about to take a bunch of guests on an excursion and we should come along because after today no more excursion as a storm is coming. We just landed and we were like ok. We went and it was great.
After that, no more water excursion for the entire week and we were only there for a week.
Anyhow, I went swimming very close to the resort instead. No swimming sign posted and all. No worries, marine staff watching me because no boats outing.
It was great floating in the water and simply feeling the waves. My own private natural swimming pool, all for me looool. Seriously, no one went swimming or canoeing at all. A few days later I also went canoeing, still no boat outing allowed but swimming was allowed now.
Anyways just a friendly reminder that the long weekend is coming. Remember to not go to work unless you are paid time and a half was it?
