hello spring

It's raining again but moments before it started pouring, I was doing yard work so I got to enjoy the lovely spring weather before it started pouring.  I even screamed out "hello spring".  Since the first day of spring, I've been doing spring clean up here and there.  I am not there for extended period of time but removing those leftover leaves and etc from fall was very helpful. It was nice to see the greens sprouting out after I removed more fallen stuff from last year or this past winter.   

Mother earth telling me here is another year for you to be more successful with your gardening effort.  I put some plants in for you, if you no want and identify them as pest and/or weed than please remove them yourself.  Don't be too ambitious and remove one type of weed at a time and not all.  

I was focus in my weed removal in previous years, as a result one pest has taken over and that's the pest I like. I don't care that my mother dislike. Now I get grass, plants that others might want to remove from the yard and existing pests that I will focus on this year. 

I am still learning to use the lawn mower. Last year, I set the dial too low so I think I scrapped grass off everytime I mowed the lawn.  I didnt haven to mow the lawn too much because of the thinning. I was too lazy to change the dial.  It ok now coz I adjusted the setting recently so now when I mow, it won't be too low.
