something fur friends star lily by hasbro

I didn't know star lily existed until today.  I am very happy that i discovered her but i have to say that i was never a unicorn fanatic and unicorn was not part of my childhood.  I have to say out of all the toy unicorns I have seen, which is not many, this one has the cutest design and it's pretty.  I would not call it beautiful.  It's cute, very cute!

I bought because the price was more than fair and I thought in a way I am sort of buying a robot.  I have never bought a robot before!  After playing with it, I decided to do some online research to see what others have to say about it.  I was surprised by some of the reviews on Amazon by buyers.  I see the "robotic" functions of the toy as added value.  You can probably get a cheaper unicorn if you get a plush that is just as cute. Just change the stuffing.  It just shows that the buyers are not playing with the toy and, perhaps, their child is not playing with the toy when they are around.  Who knows how people really play.  I was watching commercials and the demonstrator shows you how to prompt the robot.  Play is free. Copying is not playing. If you have someone to copy, you might be playing with the copier.

I am sort of playing right now because I am looking at it from a distant and writing my thoughts about it.  Unfortunately, a four years old cannot and should not be able to write like me.  

When I first lay eye on it, I just thought we are so lucky that this kind of product can mass produced.

I got mine used, it was out of the box, if I didn't get to play with it first, it might still be in a box.  I was surprised by it and I wanted to have more time to see what it can do.  What is playing? I borrowed books before where people talked about toys and how people play with toys.

It was funny when people complained about the app that is suppose to function with star lily.  I wouldn't pair star lily with an app anyways because I am still unfamiliar with the app store. It's annoying to check out new technology.  If you have a poor product, it will speak volumn for sure. Just think about it. I wouldn't want to waste time on a faulty product and get pissed off during the process.

What's lovely about a toy is that it is not necessity so even if it's broken, it's still ok.

Anyhow, it's surpring that such a lovely toy was made.  There's definitely lots of play left in this one ;)
