Yesterday, I was in YouTube watching some gameplay by noobies trying the game for maybe the first time ever. In that short ten minutes I see some small changes they made to the game. It's nice but unnecessary. The game was already rich in content when I played.
How do you bring Ragnarok Online to Offline? One way to do it is by opening up physical Ragnarok stores offline. The mobile application will have to somehow provide old players with nostalgic feeling while at the same time being able to entice them to go to some geographical location that could further enhance the mobile application experience.
For example, the application can start off simply as the Ragnarok Offline Music App where you can listen to all Ragnarok BGM offline once you download and install the application. This way, people can warp to their favourite online areas through listening to music. The app will collect data in terms of geographical locations of users to see which area is a hot spot. From time to time, public announcement about pop up offline Ragnarok locations will be announced and hopefully people will actually show up.
A cheap doable example of Ragnarok offline would be "the start of your game", where you enter a building and see a live size login area, you go into a room to put on your novice costume, you go to the next room and talk to all the NPC at novice land and finally you go into the field and hit live size porings made of jellos.
