Britney Spears

It's ironic that I decided to write my thoughts on Britney on a Dreamy Thursday.  There was not a McDreamy in Grey's Anatomy, but I stopped watching them many many many seasons ago.  Anyhow, I would like to believe that Britney Spears took the title of McDreamy many years ago.

It is not the first time I am blogging about Britney.  If I remember about my own blog correctly, I have already posted what I wrote about her in elementary school after I tried to draw her in art class.

One thing that I hear a lot from the professionals about Britney is that she was a great performer.  One regret that I believe Britney has is that she was not born with stronger vocals or singing power.      If what I assume was correct, I wonder if her thoughts changed and I have not caught up with any public announcements yet.  In her early years, she was the best model to a lot of wonderful kareoke songs.  They were slow, easy to listen to, happy to sing along to and you get the idea.

It is many years later.  I have yet to see a live performance.  I wonder if she was to redo her entire first album and make it her own. I wonder how it would sound like.  Sort of like a cover of your own first major hit album.  All of your songs that you were first known for, sing by you but perhaps interpreted with your view, thoughts and emotions now.  The lyrics in her first albums were pretty simple and she had less life experiences when she first performed it. 

I was just singing baby one More Time to myself this morning and thought how it could be sing in a different funny way. There are just too many ways if you don't stick with the well known way of performing or singing that song.  It's a fun song, it can be a sad song, it can be a play on words song.  You just need to put your performance spin on it ;)

I have to make a confession, I put her first CD on repeat when I was playing pokemon blue, red and yellow.   I know her songs very very well.   It takes many hours to attempt to collect them all and never manage to get them all because there are still more pokemon out there!

She sang about Soda Pop in her first album.
