1990 bestseller

I have been read to many times in my life.  A book may be more memorable depending on who first introduced you to it.  Someone speaking fondly of a book and someone speaking horribly of a book makes a huge difference.

I am still learning why my teacher spoke so fondly of the book entitled the "Business Corporations Act".  It is still a book subject to revisions from time to time.  If it was not a book for the public, it would definitely be a bestseller.  People may not actually read it, people may not actually understand it when they read it and people who understand bits and parts of it will continue to study it.  The same discussions, debates and questions probably get asked again and again by new readers.  Anyhow, the person who introduced me to this book spoke extremely fondly of it and the writers who put the first edition of it together.  She read sections she picked out and explained it as she read each section she selected in its entirety.

I still refer to this book whenever I feel confused or lost and requires a review.  I am now reading sections that she may have never read to me or did not put a focus on.   These sections and its words which may be foreign to me are now not hard to read.  If I am able to read it and nod in understanding, it means I got that part.  Parts where I have to reread means I am struggling with them still either because I had to deal with others who had trouble with the same parts or I have not read that section seriously before.  Anyhow, a review will make the correct information stick.

It is a book that provides me with a peace of mind.
