Notebooks

Recently, I bought a new notebook.  A non-electronic, old fashion notebook.  It is much cheaper to buy such a notebook.  I liked my purchase very much.  The cover of this notebook I speak of is very inviting and the blank pages with borders printed on heavy smooth paper was very nice to write on.  The border was also very cute.

I blog because I enjoy reading my own writing.  I hope other enjoys reading my writing as well.

I enjoy writing with my own hands because I can proof read better and I write less.

Lately, I find that when I type on my electronic touch screen device that I incorrect type a word sometimes.  For example, while typing this entry, I typed "old" instead of "own".  I have now corrected this myself. Other times, I find autocorrect interrupts my writing.

When you write with a pen and a paper.  There is just you and the lines you make.  I also like how I can easily draw and doodle freely.  I could also flip to the middle of the book and start writing there.

Also whatever I write, draw or paste onto my notebook, it's truly private, personal, offline and tangible.  What I post online, will always be flat.  When you touch it, it's always a flat screen.  It might be covered by oily fingers but a flat screen is a flat screen.

Lastly, I also don't have to worry about my notebook running out of battery.

I guess I prefer a non-electronic medium more for original work.

My old fashion notebook cannot provide me with any information.  It's blank, an electronic notebook on the other hand can easily get you to a bunch of information and you end up not writing at all.
