If I was a rollerblade salesperson

If I was a rollerblade salesperson.  I would do a pretty good job because I enjoy rollerblading and can easily identify the benefits of such activity.  Provided my buyer like my sales enough, they may even subscribe to lessons provided by me which will be fun because I am skillful and fun.  They will obtain the skills to have fun while being safe at the same time.  Why should you be safe? Because you want to be able to play as long as you can!  You cannot play if you have no skills.

My first pair of rollerblade was not inline, it had a break at the front and four wheels placed at four corners forming a square so the bottom of the rollerblade looked something like this:

When I was a toddler, my mother took me to the public park every weekend so I can practice rollerblading near the playground area.  I believe I stopped rollerblading in Grade 1 and began rollerblading again in Grade 5 but only occasionally because I had two pairs of crappy rollerblades that hardly rolled.  It is important to get a pair of rollerblade that fit you properly and can roll properly.  It makes it a lot more fun.  You can do more moves with better equipment.

Many years later, as a grown adult, I finally was equipped with, imho, the best pair of rollerblade ever.  At least, the best pair I have ever laid my feet on!  It fitted me perfectly and it rolled easily.  I didn't know I was so good at rollerblading until I had them.  My years of training with equipment that did not fit me at all had really paid off.  If you can work with less than perfect equipment, you will be that much better when equipped with equipment that is only slightly better.

The benefit of rollerblading is that it is faster than running and less straining on the body at the same time. It's a great way to exercise when you need to recover from injury.  For example, you may be slower than biking but again it's less straining on the body.  With that said, you have to know how to use your rollerblade to truly enjoy this experience. If you are nervous the entire time, it won't be relaxing at all.

If you are just starting out practice at a place that feels safe and comfortable to you.  Once you have some control you can travel further and before you know it, you might be rollerblading everywhere!
