I have read a number of threads on forum where brides- to-be worry about their weddings. It is sad that wedding has been so commercialized that people forget it is a celebration of the union of two people. The guests are there not only to witness their union but also to bless their marriage.
I was not happy at the most recent wedding I attended. Although I was immediate family, I was not involved at all in the planning or hiring process of the wedding.
Here is my unofficial review of the poor hired who got hired.
Poor hired #1: Rude photographers. They rudely made a comment among themselves about how a word was taped upside down instead of politely telling someone in the family about it and asking if they could fix the unnoticed error.
Poor hired #2: The staff during rehearsal who gave my mother wrong instructions on what to do during the ceremony. I do not know if this was on purpose or not which led to a rude guest making a mean comment about my mother during the ceremony. Something along the line of my mother knowing too little. The rude guest whispered such comment but I was standing right behind her. Despite of what happened, my mother was graceful.
Poor hired #3:. The person who did my mother's make up. My mother would have made herself up better. I hated the make up such person put on my mother's face and the way such person geled my mother's hair.
Yeah. I would not recommend any of the people above.
On a future Thursday, I will post about a dreamy event at a wedding.
