What is a household crier? The person appointed by the head of household to make official household announcements.
I have been the household crier since the purchase of this bell. I make announcements that meals are ready!
Perhaps a better title would be meal crier.
Anyhow, over the weekend I watched the town crier competition. That's when I realized I've been a household/meal crier since the late 90s.
