My favourite purchase of 2016

For the price of just shy of $150 CDN (taxes included), I netted myself two pair of shoes,  a bag to hold such shoes, a doggy toy, a bandana and a mini lesson on how to wear these shoes.

I wonder what I can get this year for exactly $150.00.  After all it is the 150th anniversary of you know what.

If you have been following my blog, you would know that I'm injured.  My doctor told me to wear heels.  I hate heels but my feet does feel better when I wear heels.  I also like wearing flip flops but my most comfortable flip flop with heels is too loose so I pair my training five finger vibram with my flip flop with heels.  It's great!   It's correcting my stand and walking; on top of that,  great cushioning from my training five figure vibram.  I have illustrated this in my montage of photos.

The non-training one, which is the purple pair in my photo montage, it's my studio gym shoes for high intense cardio classes.  They are very helpful with gripping the ground and preventing my feet from becoming more coarse.

Best of all, no socks!

The shoes are machine washable,  put them in the bag for extra protection.   You can roll up the shoes too.

The doggy toy, the green item, was destroyed a little by puppies with sharp teeth.   I use it to massage my back.

The yellow bandana, it's too beautiful,  I don't want to ruin it or worse,  lose it!  I love the product bag too!  It shows me how to wear the bandana in all sort of ways.

The Manitobah Mukluks was not part of any of my purchases in 2017 but are two of my favourite boots (in other words, not part of this purchase whatsoever).  I showed both pairs in this photo montage because one pair has vibram and the other does not.  They are the same size.  My dog took a bite out of the tan one,  luckily its not noticeable unless if you are the wearer, me.  I can actually fit the pink five finger vibram into my tan Manitobah Mukluks with the "original" sole.  I haven't tried shoveling snow on ice with the five finger vibram inside this past winter but am planning to try it next winter!  #mocmonday

The lady who helped me, let's call her my fairy god mother,  magically chose one of my favourite colour combination.  She then showed me how to use the shoes.  When I finally managed to get them on,  the fit was perfect and they felt super comfortable.  Nice and tug.  Although I was sitting at the booth of the fitness convention, I felt like Cinderella.  It's been a long time since someone spent the time to show me how to properly use a pair of shoes.

If you are thinking about buying a pair of vibram five fingers, I would recommend buying the training one, which is the pink one, and the fully loaded one, which is the purple one, at the same time.   The training one is significantly easier to put on and you are suppose to wear them all the time.

Anyhow, her partner threw in the extras when I made the purchase!

Happy Victoria Day!  Not a mundane monday post.
