Debuting my "Beast" cover on Mont Owl's Head

Spartan Race at Mont Owl's Head was much easier for me this year because it was not the Beast.  I already climbed it twice last year,  super than beast.  I knew how steep it was so no surprises for me!

The obstacles were enjoyable and I now know how to complete most of them without killing myself in the process.

Armed with all that prior knowledge,  I was able to be extra silly during my run this year.   I played songs I found funny very occasionally.   For example,  during one of my climb,  I saw a dandelion in full bloom which prompted me to pick it up and put on my parody of the song "Belle".  (I posted my parody song, "Beast", before.)  As the song came on I blew the dandelion like Belle in the movie Beauty and the Beast.  I proceeded to dance to the music as I climbed up the steep hill.

The person running in front of me did not dare to look back.  He was probably wondering what was going on.   My lyrics included phrases like "move it, beast!", "hairy beast", etc.

Anyhow that's just a small glimpse of my long run.  5 hours at least in total between the sprint and super.

I hope people that ran at around the same time as me found me fun and not annoying.  Lol.

My entire leg got stuck in mud this year.   Luckily I was able to pull it out together with my shoe lol.
