The one carnival game I love is whack a mole or hit the crocodile! It's fun and I actually win sometimes!
Here are some tips on how to get the most bang for your buck.
1. Make sure the prize system is not the trade up. The prize size is based on how many players are playing.
2. Check out your competitions first. If a majority of them appears to be people you can beat then go ahead and partcipate.
3. Make sure your machine was a winning machine or a machine that was close to winning
4. Go in last minute. Meaning you are the last one to enter the competition

By employing this strategy, I have collected many stuff animals for myself! Don't rely on your boyfriend, he may promise you he will win you something at the CNE. It might not happen, all he may end up getting is an ugly one cent participatory prize that your dog will rip apart for you.
A word of advice to guys trying to impress girls, don't hype it up and then fail to deliver. No expectations, no pressure. Yes, we are capable of winning our own toys. See picture.
